Philly Cheese Steak Burgers

1 lb ground beef

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup shredded provolone cheese

1 large onion, thinly sliced

1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 hamburger buns

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until softened and slightly caramelized, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

In a bowl, mix the ground beef with garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties.

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil and cook the patties on medium heat for about 5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.

A minute before the patties are done, top each with a mix of mozzarella and provolone cheese. Cover the skillet to help the cheese melt.

Toast the hamburger buns lightly, if desired. Place the cooked patties on the buns, top with the cooked onions and peppers.

Serve immediately.
