Cheese chicken nuggets

Cheese chicken nuggets are a delicious and flavorful variation of traditional chicken nuggets. Here’s a simple recipe you can try:


  • 1 lb (about 450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Cooking oil for frying


  1. In a bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well and set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, place the shredded cheddar cheese.
  3. Take each piece of chicken and press some shredded cheddar cheese around it, forming a nugget shape.
  4. Dip each cheese-covered chicken nugget into the beaten eggs, ensuring it’s well-coated.
  5. Roll the egg-coated nugget in the breadcrumb mixture, making sure it’s evenly coated.
  6. Heat cooking oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  7. Fry the nuggets until they are golden brown and cooked through, usually about 4-5 minutes per side, depending on the size of the nuggets.
  8. Remove the nuggets from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb any excess oil.
  9. Serve the cheese chicken nuggets with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ketchup, barbecue sauce, or honey mustard.
