Big Mac French Toast

Big Mac French Toast is a creative dish inspired by the flavors of the iconic McDonald’s Big Mac sandwich combined with the breakfast favorite, French toast. Here’s a basic recipe to make it:

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of bread (white or whole wheat)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped pickles
  • 1/4 cup chopped cooked bacon or bacon bits
  • 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • Butter or oil for cooking

Instructions:

  1. In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and mustard powder until well combined.
  2. Place a slice of bread into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for about 20-30 seconds on each side.
  3. Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium heat and add a little butter or oil.
  4. Place the soaked bread slice onto the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side. Repeat with the remaining slices of bread.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard to make the Big Mac sauce.
  6. To assemble, spread a tablespoon of Big Mac sauce onto one slice of French toast.
  7. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, chopped pickles, chopped bacon, and shredded lettuce.
  8. Place another slice of French toast on top to form a sandwich.
  9. Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately.
